Life Chronicles@Museum of Science!

Great news — a room-scale VR experience called Life Chronicles is at the Museum of Science from now until Sunday, September 13!

This amazing traveling exhibit introduces you to the formation of Earth and the evolution of life with an engaging narrative and mind-boggling visuals. It was created through collaboration between Excurio and Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, and you can learn more about it in this press release.

The experience comes with typical caveats for room scale VR (i.e. ages 8+; not for those sensitive to vertigo, nausea, or motion sickness; not accessible to those with certain heart conditions, epilepsy, pregnant, etc.).

That being said, I “sometimes” felt motion sickness during my decade of work with VR for Digital Den, but I had no problem while even using the “amplified immersive effects” option in this exhibit.
